I was just thinking about who might be directing Obama into military mayhem in Mexico and of course I was wondering which top advisors might be directing this nonsense?
Senator Lieberman, the Senator who supports every Israeli aggression, was pontificating today about how we need to have some sort of real war, not just a "drug war" vis-a-vis our neighbor to the south. Of course this distracts from the violence that Israel commits against Palestinians and could put Americans in fear of their neighbors much like the Israeli citizens are afraid of the Palestinians.
By putting Americans in the same psychological position, vis-a-vis Mexico, "ie. threatened civilization" lobbyists, policy makers, think tanks, and politician of the racist Zionist sort can see emotional influence over te American public. Poor Israeli are replaced by poor Americans, evil terrorist Palestinians are replaced by terrorist Mexicans. The solution is the same too, a big wall and military attacks on the evil Palestinians and Mexicans ad infinitum. These fanatics are using the otherwise legitimate concerns about drugs and violence as a means of achieving these political objectives.
Israeli citizens who are also American citizens and fierce right-wing Zionists like Lieberman are pushing for a situation where they can continue to play the United States government like a piano.
I hope someone will look into tHis more thoroughly. I'll be looking into it soon because of Lieberman's aggressive and warlike comments.
I rise today to oppose the military preparations of the great imperialist superpower, the United States of America, to invade Mexico. In particular, I sound the warning of the plans that are being implemented as I write to militarily intervene in Mexico in order to supposedly fight drugs or some such nonsense.
Of course the United States has invaded Mexico on many occasions and expropriated half of Mexico in the nineteenth century through military force.
I call upon the Obama administration to declare that no military or other militarized United States personnel shall be sent into Mexico under any cover, under any pretense. I call upon the Obama administration to declassify all United States documents pertaining to Mexico for the last one hundred ten years including up to today so the American people and the people of Mexico can see what this sometimes visible, sometimes invisible hand has been up to in Mexico for the past one century.
I call upon the Obama administration to disband NORTHCOM which is now being converted into an instrument of aggression pointed at the working peoples of the United States and Mexico. If Obama is progressive he will adopt harm reduction policies which allow for the effective discouragement of drug abuse and dependence while taking the big bucks out of the illegal drug trade. Harm reduction policies if effectively implemented would undermine the illegal drug marketplace because the cartels would no longer have a monopoly on these drugs.
Unfortunately Obama may be trying to prove he and the United States can win a war. However, by toying with a war with Mexico he is looking
really stupid. Would Bush ever be this dumb? I don't think so.
Strategically, the United States may be trying to reclaim the Monroe Doctrine.
